Hi @jason today my remote crash, I wanted to turn off my devices but the remote did't react no lights. My last button was the "stop" symbol and B or A profile and Power button. the "stop" it work but the power off did't. the profile A/B don't know if work or not. Also, since it was dark, maybe I pressed another buttons. Connected to the PC. Open the skip app and the remote light again to Profile A. This are new batteries from 1 week ago. Its a long time that I did't have any issues, maybe a wrong timing combination press buttons did the crash. I think the crash/dead is auto restarting the remote, so I did't notice any "dead" behavior like old firm versions, but still is consuming batteries somehow... that is my thought not sure if the auto restar after crash is something that you added recently or is just my assumption.

@english yes exactly that. I forgot to write this in the forum. I found the same, using "Pause" I can do play/pause. except in some scenarios for example If I want to return to see something on my blu-ray player that I had Stop, then the "Pause" will not play, or I have to click the Center Key two times since it opens a menu to ask what source to reproduce. Or the other alternative that I did is to set "Play" to the 0 digit, since only on few scenarios I will need it and I don't bother having in that place.

@jason managed to get error logs. the ones with the issue are not rechargeable they are generics, LR03 1.5V (https://www.simplicity.com.ar/pilas-alcalinas-simplicity-aaa-troquelada/p) what I did: put the "dead" batteries , then click 3 times any button and then it "shutdown", then I connected to the PC with the batteries, and check logs and found this. (I reproduce it two times, so two logs sessions.) Maybe it helps or maybe they are normal logs. Note: I don't see a low battery message in the log that I looked that before when using a rechargeable batteries. @jason are you talking about the app or the batteries comment? I tried putting again the "dead" batteries and I can click three times an activity button, I can see the light turn on, but then is not doing anything after 2-3 click, low battery I guess ..? Should I update to Alpha 4 or keep on 3 and report/help issues with another pair of batteries?

Sometimes (3 times) my remote did't turn on and after taking out and putting back again the batteries the remote came to life again. After two months my batteries died minimal use, I have to swap with another pair of batteries then those die in one day (they where not new batteries could be that) then swap again a batteries, for now its working. could be that stuck loop that you are describing and drained. I did't report since I was thinking was an old issue in the first kickstarted units and wasn't mine, since other reported that never got back to life again. I will try this new firmware.

What happens if I want to use a combination of the remote code device that is already on the Skip database + IR codes from learning? For example, the Skip database device is missing 1 action and I want to add it with IR learning after I already configurare initial with the Skip database device.

I have to select again like it was from the beginning and the Skip app ask me at one point again the automatic layout assign base on Audio/Control/Media and replaces all the buttons configurations that I have done, all this just to change or delete or add another device to my Activity. Hi I got my Skip remote recently and I have this questions and suggestions: 1) Apple TV (3/4/5 generation) Codes from Skip app: The buttons assigned to the function Forward and Reverse doe't do anything on the Apple TV. 2) TV LG Code Group 1 from Skip app: Is possible to add or find somehow if exist a IR code to change the Sound output? like TV speakers, bluetooth , Optical cable, etc to something like AUDIO OUTPUT 1/2/3/4 Since there is HDMI 1-4 Output (unsure how did you find them since my LGC2 TV remote control does't have them, only one INPUT button menu) maybe is possible to find sound output? 3) I pick the color ring Blue, but what is the point if I only can see it when I plug on my PC? Can Staff do a roadmap? There are plenty of tools in the internet (skip-org.gitbook.io, Trello, this forum, vote system, etc) to display what are you working and what features at some point they will be develop. If you don't want to display a timeline or status for specific reasons is fine but at least show a feature list of what is work on or to be develop. It's annoying that we have to search the forum comments if our problem is recognized and the solution will come in the future. For example: Long pressing, Activity smart switching, etc

Hi I really like the remote and want to protect it like the other that I have. Can Staff somehow partnership with a manufacture silicon company to manufacture and sell protective cases? If it is to complicated, maybe we could find one close to the Skip remote dimensions with minor some scissors cuts and use that. That will be trial and error, but we can all share in this thread. I have this from TV LG C2, pictures: Diagnostic: We could cut the front view and add some material in the back since there is space because the LG remote is fat and not thin like Skip. But the sides of the front view are not the correct dimension and it does not look good. the silicon is to close to the buttons. Conclusion: don't use this silicon model
