  1. Update - My brother received his Flirc the other day and I set his up exactly the same as mine except I did not map and back command - I left the Flirc Kodi settings exactly as they were when the device was added. His Harmony One Exit button sends a Return command to the Flirc, just as it was automatically added, and it works fine. I then erased everything involving the Flirc and Watch Fire TV Activity in the Harmony software and erased any commands I set in the Flirc program, then re-added everything all over again and tested, and I am getting the same result as I had before! I does not make much sense! The command is correct and the fire tv does go back a menu, it just seems like it is processing it in a way that makes it register for a fraction of a second and sometimes it jumps back 2 steps. I guess I will have to use it the way it is.
  2. Hi Everyone, I am sorry if this was answered somewhere else but I tried very hard to search before posting. I have a Harmony One and new Fire TV. I setup my Flirc using the Harmony software, adding the Flirc as a media center PC and the device name XBMC. I have everything set up working, but for some reason, only the return button acts strange. The signal it sends is correct but it sends it SO fast that sometimes it does not respond correctly (mostly in a double press way). I can see the difference in how it acts with the Fire TV because the white LED on front lights with every button press - It will come on for a half second then turn off. But when I press the return button, it flashes for a millisecond. I have already adjusted input key delays and all of those settings in the harmony software and Flirc software and everything else works fine - it is only with the return button! I have tried mapping that button to a 'Back' command in the Harmony software (telling the harmony that I want the 'Prev' button to send a 'Back' command to the Flirc) and it yields the same result. I have also tried using a different device (dummy TV) to map a command to that button. It must be something with how the Flirc is telling the Fire TV to go 'back'. Is anyone else having this issue? Has anyone had it and fixed it? Is there a keyboard button I can use instead of the preset profile for the Flirc in Harmony? This is a great device and everything works great except this one button and how it is being received. Thank you very much in advance for you help!
