  1. I just replicated the problem with an MCE remote, so it's not unique to the harmony. I tried using the harmony software to get it to send a double power-on signal but I couldn't get it to work, but the harmony software is not very intuitive I have to say. and sounds like SAE above has got it working so i'll have another look at it. It's still a work-around however.
  2. Hi, I thought I has sorted this but... now I notice that I need to select 'Power On' on my harmony 2 times before the flirc will power-on from S5. It doesn't seem to matter the delay between the taps, the flirc is somehow recording one tap and waiting for the second before powering-on. I don't know if this might be related to the 'sleep detect' function in the gui - but on or off it makes no difference - is it broken?
  3. ugh... fixed it. Turns out I had both the power switch and the m/b extension plugged into the flirc the wrong way round, which might explain why the manual pass-through was working. Everything seems to be working find now. How stupid do I feel.... Thanks for your help.
  4. Sure - here's my dropbox link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11305732/my_flirc_config.fcfg
  5. Hey. Surely it must be because I can power on the pc by pressing the on button, i assume if it wasn't properly connected the system wouldn't power on at all?
  6. Thanks for the fast response, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me... I can use flirc_util to record the command, but it still will not power up from S5. I know the flirc is receiving power in S5 because I have run a 5V line direct from the psu and confirmed with a multimeter. I have tried a microsoft RC6 compatible remote as well as my harmony but it is not working.
  7. Hi, sorry to bump a month-old thread but I also cannot get my Flirc-SE to power on from S5 state. I believe I am running the latest firmware (1.3.6?). The PC is running windows 7 and windows media centre. I am using a harmony remote. Did I read correctly there is something I need to do on the command line to enable this functionality? thanks.
