So what's the point in posting a legitimate question on this forum if you can get even one reply. Does anybody even read these threads?

BUMP this question.

I just got the Firestick 4K. I planned to use the Flirc with it but apparently the Flirc software does not support the new Firestick remote so i don't have vol up / vol down or mute. Kinda of useless without sound control. Am I missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

After a lot of testing I have managed to solve my problem.

XBMC OpenElec FLIRC Firmware 3.0 I can get 'some' keys configured UP & DOWN but then some keys always tell me they are already configured BACK etc Yes I cleared the configuration before starting
