  1. I also have the Flirc/harmony/ouya and this exact problem has happened to me.....all the sudden the flirc has become unresponsive. I had been using the flirc just fine for the past while on firmware 2.4 and only recently upgraded to the latest (3.3) to see if I figure out how to wake my ouya from sleep.

Big mistake. I wish I had of just left it alone. My pc is able to recognize the flirc ...I'm able to record buttons through the GUI but it refuses to command them upon press. I've tried the flirc using different remotes on my ps3, pc, and my ouya each time producing with the same result...unresponsive. I left it for about an hour and suddenly it worked for bout 5 minute then shit the bed again.

Is there a way to downgrade my firmware back to v2.4.?

  2. Hey hank,

My setup is quite like yours. I have my ouya rooted which gives me access to power down and sleep in the xbmc menu.

If you haven't rooted your ouya here's the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2387507 . Very simple can be done in 3 steps.

Now the xbmc from discover doesn't have shut down and sleep in the power menu. So I downloaded http://spmc.semperpax.com and used spmc instead. It's identical in functions. From there I could shut down. I'm still however trying to find a way to wake the ouya with the flirc. But I don't mind walking over and pressing the ouya power button to wake it up.

  3. Ouya (rooted)

    XBMC (gotham)

    FLIRC (firmware v.3.3)

    Harmony smart control

Hi all, my Flirc refuses to wake up from sleep. I'm using XBMC on an ouya with a logitech smart remote. So far, I have tried enabling/disabling sleep detection and also tried programming the "wake" button using the full keyboard to a button on the remote but with no success. Anyone with an ouya experiencing this as well?

  4. I just bought a flirc today and i'm using it on a macbook pro running bootcamp windows 7 x64.   I'm getting the same issue as it isn't recognized after waking up from sleep.  Sometimes it works and other times a full restart plus unplugging is required.  I'm using a logitech harmony one with the flirc profile.

    Firmware Version 2.3

    Flirc v 1.2.2

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Try installing this driver. https://flirc.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200712548-Using-the-ZADIG-Utility
