  4. In conjunction with the FireTV stick. Understood. Still getting my sea legs. Thanks.
  5. So I'm using the flirc profile on the skip1s and the keyboard profile on the flirc, the only thing that changed was the firmware upgrade on the flirc
  6. Because the config is compressed, information is lost when put on the remote, and although I don't have a public way of reading it out, even if we did, it wouldn't tell us the device and manufacturer. But I would use my decoders to try and look it up. I have all the past firmwares posted on the forum somewhere.

  8. i have a fresh install of the skip app, so if there's anyway i can "reverse sync" the data i would
  9. is anything embedded on the remote that i could extract/provide?
  10. im not sure about brand, whichever one gives flirc as an option, i dont have the skip app installed so i cant refer back to or provide any config
  11. Not helpful, what did you add here so I can reproduce this.
  12. ok, so after trying a few releases from the .tar.gz files i landed on v3.27.10, this is the earliest version i could find that would connect. i loaded the embedded firmware and now my long press bindings are working as usual. fw version is 4.10.2
  13. pretty sure i set it as a computer and chose flirc as the profile, its not installed anymore so i dont have any config for it. It was working perfectly fine, the only thing i did was upgrade the flirc firmware. im happy to continue troubleshooting, but could you please provide me with an older firmware in the meantime? i tried installing the flirc setup old.exe from https://flirc.io/nightly/Flirc GUI/win/ but it wont connect, i was hoping to load older firmware from it somehow.
  14. What remote profile did you use in the skip app? The manufacturer and device?
  15. this is my current flirc config my_flirc_config.fcfg
  16. With a lot of research and a borrow of my mates uncles remote I have managed to record the pronto codes and make myself a working JSON file. VideoconVU325LDF.json
  17. Hi, I still got the Inteset v422-2 and just recently got the Flirc. I'm intending to use with Plex HTPC. Mapping using Kodi controller and most of the functions work except the Rewind, Fastforward, Next, Previous, Mute and Subtitles. Any advice on how to go about this? + is there a way to map the windows start key to the remote?
  18. I could post the current flirc config later, but I don't have the skip app installed so no config available for that one
  19. Id really like an older firmware version in the meantime please
  20. At work ATM, I have no configs tho, none of the apps were installed since the last time I set it up. Using the flirc profile on the skip1s, using keyboard profile in the flirc app with just some basic press and hold commands
  21. What profile are you using on your skip1s? Can you post your config from your skip and from your flirc?
  22. where can i download older firmware?
  23. ive cleared my config and remaped the key and it maps fine, it just wont fire a long press, im using the skip1s remote with flirc v2
  24. just updated to this firmware version, it said something about improved long press, but now long press doesn't work :(

  26. For proper functionality, both the Skip app and Flirc software may be necessary to configure Skip and Flirc with your Playstation 4 effectively. It's recommended to follow the setup instructions provided by Flirc for mapping buttons accurately. For more detailed guidance, you can refer to tutorials or contact Flirc's customer support for assistance. 27. Hi there, new to flirc, I've looked at the flirc_util command and saw that there's a script command which says run a command script. I've looked in the documentation for the cli (which seems to be a bit lacking) but there's no detail on how this works or examples on how to use this. Can anyone who has some experience with this command explain what it does and how to use it? My assumption is that you can pass a file of inputs you want to record and it will do that for you? But maybe my assumption is wrong, any help is appreciated, thank you.
  28. So I've downloaded the gui/app to my windows pc and noticed that one of the options for a remote is firetv. What's the point of that if the firetv remote is not IR based? Thanks!
